Woobox provides a suite of digital marketing applications used by both casual users running their first digital marketing campaign, as well as experienced marketers who demand a variety of features. Using built-in customization tools and an HTML editor users can customize the look and functionality of these applications, resulting in unique quizzes, giveaways, polls, and other campaigns to promote their brand or product.
Woobox as both a brand and service has undergone several major changes since it started business in 2009. Recently I helped the company with the latest overhaul of their website, establishing an updated visual identity along with new messaging and content. Working off of data collected over the previous several years, along with an updated product strategy, we placed more stress on several aspects of the service: the versatility of its campaign builder, the availability of pre-configured templates, and the most commonly sought after campaign applications. I replaced the old “fun and light” illustrations and imagery with new ones that both showcased the product to a greater degree, as well as lended a more serious and technological feel.
As with many of my clients, I aided Woobox in not only UI design, but also with the development of the front-end. As part of my services I commonly build out the front-end before handing it over to the in-house development team for integration into whatever systems they have up and running. Shepherding the project from concept to design to code helps preserve the integrity of the vision and guarantees that designs just don’t look good in draft form, but actually function in the real world.
